Post Osseous Surgery Gum Question

I’ve had osseous surgery done on both sides of my mouth Now. The right is “healed” and the left was done a week ago.

I feel better I guess and all but looking at my teeth I swear my gums still look bad and recessed. Pinker, yes but still too low! Is this just my mouth forever? Will gum regenerate on its own at all?

I just feel so hopeless with all of this.
