Has anyone had an impacted canine removed + premolar extractions for braces? Worried about facial changes

Hey everyone, 22M here just looking for some honest experiences and expert knowledge

So my treatment involved removing my impacted upper left canine (it was hidden in the bone and couldn't be brought down), my baby canine on the same side, and three second premolars (upper left, lower left, lower right). Now I'm starting braces and the plan is to close all the spaces, and fix minor crowding.

I've been reading a lot online and honestly freaking myself out about bone loss, facial changes, lip support etc. I honestly feel like I made a massive mistake especially since I assumed I would be getting my canines taking out, not the second pre molars. Has anyone had something similar done?

- Did your face change noticeably after space closure?

- What tooth ended up in the canine position and does it look okay?

- Any regrets or things you wish you'd asked your orthodontist beforehand?
