I have not been totally happy with the treatment/facilities at my current dentist and want to go back to my old dentist (who is now private). Am I wrong to do this?

It is your mouth and your body, therefore your decision as to who you want to have as your dentist.
It is your choice- there is no right and wrong about it- only what you want and feel is best for you!
I think if you are more comfortable with your old dentist and want to go back- then that is what you should do.
Hope this helps
Regards
Dr Mike

Dr Mike is right. It is important to go with your instincts in this. I had reservations about my dentist but was scared of moving. I finally took the plunge and moved when a dentist friend asked me "if you have concerns about your own treatment, how do you think your children's teeth will do in the future?". Moving was the best thing we ever did, we have had much better treatment and advice from the new dentist. I wish I'd done it earlier and saved myself some big dental problems and bills!

If you have a feeling you want to move then just do it!

Thanks. I have decided I am definitely moving and have already made the appointment. Hopefully I can now get my problems sorted out.
