small hard lump 10 days after extraction?

Hi there,I had my top left second from back molar extracted 10 days ago. (With help from this wonderfull site and midazolam). The socket is healing well and granulating (going white?) but just above the socket there is a small hard lump,which is tender. do you think i need to have it seen to?Or will it go.?I am keen on going as I am now on crutches,with a bust up ankle having fallen over whilst on a run!!

I had that with one of mine . I think it was the bone. (he had to cut some of the bone away) It has now dissappeared. May take some time for things to get more normal feeling.

I have the exact same problem, only you explained it better! Thanks for doing that! I have an appointment to get my stitches out next Tuesday. Maybe the bone bump will go away.
