sore tender jaw !! any advice please

hi, over the last few months i have had 4 teeth out, and two fillings, also front teeth filled at the back. all was good but 3/4 weeks after fillings had some pain in one on right side (top molar 4 from back) was so painful to touch so went back to dentist and he adjusted the bite, and pain went almost immediatley, this was on wednesday afternoon, today being sunday over the course of the day my throat hurts when I swallow and under my left jaw is very sore and tender, (when i had the fillings 4 weeks ago was also bit tender in the same place but went away) can someone please tell me if this happens as I really dont want to go back to the dentist and waste his time if it is not connected to the work I have had done, many thanks

Seriously, go back to your dentist. I would be really annoyed if you were still in pain after I had treated you and you didn't let me know. I certainly wouldn't consider it a waste of my time checking you over.

wow thanks for the quick reply, I will make an appointment tomorrow, and hope and pray that its nothing that cannot be put right quickly.
