My molars on my top right side hurt when I eat anything hard or crunchy. Well, they don't actually hurt WHILE I'm eating but afterwards it's like they're sore and I just have this dull ache for a while. I even woke up this morning with my teeth aching a bit. I'm almost certain that I clench my teeth at night (only when i'm stressed or something, which i have been) but this only started after I got fillings on my molars back there.. about 7 months ago. But I'm wondering if my bite just needs to be adjusted? I'm almost embarrassed to call my dentist at this point, almost 7 months later AND I got my teeth cleaned last week (no cavities and he said my teeth look good) and forgot to mention it.
I just keep forgetting because it doesn't happen all the time. My teeth are kind of sore for a day or two and then it goes away and I just completely forget about it. It also worries me a bit because when he was doing one of the fillings he said it was so deep that he almost thought I would need a root canal or extraction, so could it just be because the filling is so deep? If so, is that something that I need to worry about? Can I just leave it or would I need a root canal?
