Hello All,

I have to have ALL my teeth extracted end of this month and dentures put in. I have have had extreme panic disorder for decades which makes things even harder. I don't want to google or watch youtube too much as I am afraid people will be telling horror stories and I don't need any help imagining all the stuff that could go wrong. Here, though, I am hoping for some encouraging words. I am so frozen in fear I can hardly function. Help please!

Forewarned is forearmed.... Truly your imagination is far worse than anything.

Not going to lie, it's hard, it's scary, it's all those things, but never as bad as I imagined. Knowing what to expect and having no surprises got me through procedure day. It was the recovery that took me off my feet.

knowing exactly what to expect, being prepared and bracing for it .helped me.

best advice is not to focus on surviving the procedure, you will, focus on preparing for the recovery. Get healthy as possible, put on some weight, do the research and have reasonable expectations. Follow the tips, ice ice ice the first 24, take the meds, rest.

Kinda wish I had saved the YouTube links I watched in the past. There are a lot of positive dental journey stories on YouTube but I never thought about saving any for future reference.
