Hello, I am glad I found this site. I have not been to the dentist in almost 3 years because I have not had good insurance. Before I went to the dentist last time, I had not been in almost 5 years. I was told at that visit that I had no problems or cavities. I found it hard to believe. I noticed a few months ago that I had two upper teeth that were severely yellowed on the sides. The yellow will not come off with brushed or flossing. The problem that has me upset is my right bottom back tooth. I had a white filling in it when I was much younger. The area under the filling is now black in color. The black has spread out beyond the filling and towards the sides and in the ridges. Also, on the side nearest my outside gums, there is a white circular area with black around it. The tooth is not causing me any pain at this point. I not have insurance but it is a very specific plan and I can only make an appointment at one local office. I have to wait two months before my appointment. I also have other teeth with problems like black areas and holes in them, but the back tooth has be anxious. I used to love the dentist, now I tear up when I think about going. I have always taken care of my teeth, but they are naturally bad. I am horrified with how they look at this point in my life. I am only on my 20s and I am absolutely petrified to lose my teeth. I CANNOT get a crown or root canal at the office I am going to with my insurance. I can only get fillings. I have posted a photo of the tooth that worries me. Please help!
