Why do I feel a need to do dumb things?

I know it's just temporary and it will undoubtedly have calmed down again by tomorrow, but why did I think I needed to subject my teeth to two hours of a peroxide coating just now?

I don't know. I can honestly say I wouldn't have done that ;D. Bleaching is not my thing.

Errr, I don't know either ?!?! Maybe you were just feeling a bit excited because you were doing well with your treatment and were on the road to the teeth being healthier and wanted them to look whiter at the same time. Can' say I would have considered it. :-X

Jaylah I totally understand the need to whiten your teeth but maybe next time your dentist could do it?

Don't think I would brave a home kit :-X

Undoubtedly.

There never seemed to be much point in it when I had such a large build-up of tartar on my teeth. Once they were all nice and clean again, I was excited to have them look as good as possible. But, you know, I could have waited a week or so. :ROFLMAO:

Sparkles, this isn't actually a "home kit." I don't know if these are available in the UK for sure, although I would imagine so. They are "Crest White Strips" which consist of just a couple of small strips of plastic that are coated with a rather weak based peroxide solution. You peel them off the plastic sheet they come on, press them over your teeth (there is a top strip and a bottom strip), and then just leave them in place for a bit.

They aren't anywhere near as powerful as the kits you get from a dentist.

Frankly, I'm really not sure they accomplished much of anything. Except making that one tooth sore last night, that is. However, it's back to normal now.

Yes Laylah why did you do it, you are braver than me. I am glad you are feeling less sensitive now. I think we can get them here in the uk or something very similar. ::) You just get your teeth feeling good and you have to mess until you get the pain back, did you like it. :)

Sorry Jaylah but I just have to say Sparkles, like your make over, suits you. :P

Ah I see, Jaylah I had some image of you mixing up some industrial strength stuff :giggle: Glad your teeth are back to normal now. [smiley=hugging.gif]

Oh and thanks Carole fancied a new image!
