Will I feel pain from the needle after sedation?

Hello everyone, I am Franklin.

I am having my four pre-molars extracted before I get my braces. I am very scared of needles, and I don't do well when I get shot. Will I feel the pain from the needles after I have been orally or gas sedated?

If your dentist has the right techniques, you don't have to feel any pain even without nitrous etc so with the nitrous you should be fine:

This dentist did a filling for me a month ago. They gave me some type of mouth wash. However, I felt the pain from the needles.

I think he wants to give me oral sedation. I'm not 100% sure.

I just found out that my dentist does not use sedation. His needles are very painful. When he gave me a filling, no one gave me anything to successfully numb me. I wasn't given any numb gel. The numb mouth wash they use wasn't successful. It didn't make me numb at all. He told me this is going to hurt. Now I am scared to death to do this. Should I seek another dentist?

I personally would as I am used to painfree injections and have no interest in putting up with unnecessary pain. Ask friends if their dentist does comfortable or virtually painfree 'shots' as you call them.
