My wisdom teeth have started to break through and they are making my bottom teeth really uncomfortable. I want to get them taken out but my fear of needles have talked me out of telling my parents what is going on. I have avoided the dentist just about my whole life due to the fact that when I see the office iteself I go crazy and I become anxious and nervous because I know the needles and the drilling is coming. But any help on the procedure itself would be great. I have never had an IV but I have had the gas before, but it was just for a small procedure and it was years ago when I had it. Plus ways to tell your dentist that I am a needle phobe. My previous dentist was rude and had no concern for my phobia and went ahead with my procedure. I was shaking and crying when I left his office and he had teeth marks in his hand after the shot was given. Any help on how to overcome this. I have avoided needles at all cost since I was little and I plan to do the same now, but I know this is not going away and Im going to have to face them soon (I start college in a month). PLEASE HELP ME!!!
