Wisdom tooth pulled over 9 weeks ago...

Hi all, had both bottom wisdom teeth pulled in February sometime, healing has been fine, no dry clot or anything. But today I woke up with a sore gum to the right side of the extraction site and a weird, hard thing in the gum. I have a dentist appointment for fillings in 4 days, but until then I was wondering if anyone knew what this could be, to help ease my anxiety until then.

Could be a tooth chip coming out. Happens to a lot of people post extraction

possible tiny bone fragment or piece of tooth that got left behind. it's not unusual and can be painful. it may work itself out or if too painful to wait you can get it removed.
