Hello, after eating dinner which contained a lot of herbs, I noticed what I presumed was a speck of basil caught between one of my lower front teeth and the gum. When I tried to get it out, it wouldn’t move. When I tried to push the gum, I couldn’t tell whether it was stuck basil or a spot on the tooth itself. I poked around with an interdental brush but couldn’t shift anything, including the gum, and now I’m worried the gum will get infected because it started to bleed slightly. It’s probably too small to take a photo. I only just had a full dental check including a full set of X-rays two months ago, and I have a very thorough dentist so I feel like they would know if there was something wrong growing there or a gum issue- which kind of adds to my basil theory since I only noticed it tonight. Is this likely to be something I need to keep panicking about? Thanks so much.
