Hello,
I have a chronic molar abscess (under) for more than 10 years. I finally got the courage to see the dentist. They took a ct and told me root canal treatment is not possible as it’s broken. I have a fistula as well. The tooth does not really hurts only if touch it. And the fistula hurts when i touch it and the whole area. I have been touching it a lot. The dentist gave me antibiotics amoxicillin for 5 days, 4 times a day before extraction. Because with the abscess the tooth would not get numb good he said. That is what the antibiotic is for. Now i am scared that even though the antibiotic it still will hurt. My dose will finish on Monday and i need go for extraction on Tuesday. Please let me know and help me. I think I will die.
