Thank you all,
emma, the locals didnt really bother me, i was just aware of them being done, but because Mike took his time, there was no pain?

Ive just been down to check on the hotel dinner menu...........there doesnt seem to be anything on there that i could sort of mush up? So, I will stick to cuppa soup for now.

Pleased it all went well for you. Hope your experience of it was as good as mine. I bet you're just glad its all over.

Well done!

Thanks,

My partner went down for breakfast this morning and brought me up some scrambled eggs and yoghurts. The kitchen staff also gave him an ice pack for me to use......ohhh it was good and worked well.
The swelling had almost gone when I went to see Mike. i was still apprehensive about Mike taking my plate out to check on healing etc......... i had said to my partner, " but Mike will see me with no top teeth".......hello..............mike saw you without upper teeth after removing them yesterday hahaaaaaaaaa

I am healing very well so, taking the arnica beforehand has helped a great deal.
i will be brave and post a before and after picture, when the swelling has completely gone!

Cheers everyone

My next hurdle is............taking the plate out to clean it myself and LOOK IN THE MIRROR to replace it! Ohhhhh boy............not looking forward to that.
i didnt see when it was out this morning, but i could feel around, which surprisingly didnt freak me out like i thought! But boyyyyyyyyyyy this will be soooooo different.
I guess, i'll have to get into a different mind frame and think " its ok........your smile will be in place again soon" Hope it works!!

Best of luck with it [smiley=hugging.gif]

Great to hear that the swelling has gone so quickly and that you're healing well 8-)!

Thank you so much Jules,
I had actually said to Mike the other day............" i dont know how im able to give advice and support to others, when im so scared myself?" And he said........... whilst im offering advice to others, i'm also subconciously advising myself! And he was right!

Sorry lets, forgot to say thanks to you too, for your on going messages of support :-[

What a funny night last night, was just about to drop off to sleep, and I swear I had twinges in a tooth thats no longer there? (the front tooth that had been problematic before)

Ive heard of phantom pregnancies but not phantom toothache lol

LOL I think it might be reasonably common cos I've heard of phantom toothache before on these forums... maybe it's just the bone healing or something? You've done so well :respect:[smiley=cloud9.gif]!
