Pineapple juice before wisdom tooth removal

Hello

So I’ve seen online that pineapple juice and/or Arnica tablets will help with the swelling after wisdom teeth extractions.. how true is this? I’m getting the 2 right side ones out next week so I’m wanting to keep the swelling to a minimum if it’s at all possible.

Can't hurt. Trouble with wisdom teeth extractions is that they are pretty unpredictable, I've seen some that were really difficult to remove with no post-op pain or swelling at all and others which were dead easy and had all sorts of swelling.
Getting ice packs over the jaw joint area every couple of hours post-op is probably the best way to minimise swelling afterwards. Frozen peas/sweetcorn make the best ice packs, but wrap them in a tea towel first.
