Question about lower wisdom tooth removal

Hey to all good people on this forum.
I have a question about what it seems fully erupted bottom left wisdom tooth extraction.

Last year I had both upper ones out. Both where fully erupted and both came out in under 2 minutes. There was no pain, no nothing. Is it similar with bottom ones if they are also erupted? If I understand correctly problems begin if the tooth is not yet erupted or is impacted? Or am I wrong? I am in fear because of everything I found on the internet about lower teeth and getting them out...

I am attaching an x-ray of mine bottom left wisdom tooth for better evaluation.

I will appreciate any answers.

I think I have answered you in another thread but this might help. I had all four of my wisdoms out over 20 years ago, all impacted and hurting like hell because there wasn't room in my mouth for them to come out.

I went to the hospital and had them all out under GA I was sore after and my tongue did have a mind of it's own for a couple of weeks, my whole mouth felt very strange and I did have some swelling. But after the first three to four days of taking pain meds things started to settle down a bit and gradually my mouth returned to normal. There was no lasting damage to my nerves at the bottom or my tongue, all side effects wore off.

Things are much more modern and dentistry has come a long way since I had mine out. It wasn't bad when I had mine done and today it is even better. So please don't worry they know what they are doing and are very good at it. They won't do anything to damage you.

While there are always some risks with most procedures the risks for this tooth look fairly low so I don't think there will be much difficulty with the extraction. I am much more concerned about the poor failing root canal on your first molar.

Comfortdentist what are you seeing that shows the rct is failing on the tooth. I am only asking because when I look at x rays I haven't a clue what I am looking at.

Maybe if you give Midwinter the answer to this they can approach their dentist and also know herself why you say this. Could it be cured with a re-treatment?
