@Lindz1975 Don’t be nervous honestly. I was so scared before my deep cleaning and wish I had not wasted my time worrying. The shots do not hurt you might feel a little pinch. The dentist will numb the area before doing the injection. Don’t worry you’ll be 100% fine and so glad you went!

@letsconnect Can i just ask, with reference to this specific question that was asked, why did the person who said their injections really hurt be ignored JUST because they said they hurt, whilst we should believe the other person who said they didnt, PURELY because we want to believe it doesnt hurt?

Im not having a go im just saying why are we dismissing one person for saying it hurt them, that seems very unfair on them and their feelings, ive been in the same position as them and i find injections can range from being at best bearable, to at worst agony.

one person making a blanket statement doesnt mean that injection thats coming, in that moment wont be agony

@MagicDuck12 I agree with you that people's feelings & opinions should be respected. Anyone with dental phobia shouldn't be dismissed because that will make them feel even worse as if their fears aren't valid. Instead, they should try to find a sympathetic dental professional who can help them deal with anxiety and hopefully reduce it, even if they can't eliminate it completely.
