Shifting teeth?

Does anybody have a night guard? and does it prevent more shifting of teeth, I'm a little tight on money and notice a lot of teeth close to each other and one shifting into the other any suggestions

I think i corrected some of this problem by laying on my back. If you lay on your side or even with hand next to head it could be causing the problem
