Xray shadow?

Somehow the attachment did not work. I am in a ot of tooth pain but dentist wo'nt pull till he finds out what this mysterious shadow is below the roots. The whites lines should be all the way down, but it's dark where my finger is. Has anyone seen this before or had similar?

ask your dentist where your submandibular gland is located.
I presume he did not feel on the tongue side of your jaw in that spot.
