possibly may need extraction

Has anyone had a front tooth pulled? If so how did the dentist do it and do they put something there later? My front tooth is cracked and it kinda looks like a hole it may need removed.

hi there.. i got all my top teeth extracted. how many are you pulling? its simple job. other then little pinch for injection and after that you won't feel a thing. if its front and 3 teeth or less..it should take less then 15min. took me about 30min for all top teeth. you ask if they put somthing there.. what do you mean? like denture or sponge thing that stops bleeding? if you need dentures they might give you temp dentures and after gum is healed you'll get real ones. or if you get implants. i think they do it at same time as extraction.

Oh ok. its just one that needs out. What I meant by that was if they put a partial tooth in where the real tooth was.

well like i said if its implant. they most likely do it same day and thats perminant. if its denture you have to wait untill it gets heal first. they give you temp denture while healing but you should've gotten mold already. if not you'll probably wait toothless untill you get your denture made.
note that implants are very expansive. oh and there is chance you might be able to save your bronken tooth. talk to your doc.
