How long should a soft diet be maintained after wisdom teeth are removed?

For most people its about 2-3 days but this can vary based on your pain tolerance and how quickly you recover.

Apologies if I linked this for you already but there is a good article here about the healing process and what to expect.

Agreed.

I was eating ice cream with frozen chunks of peanut butter cups on day 4, and that was pushing.

I myself eating more substantial soft foods at day 5 (lentils etc, not just ice cream/ jello etc) to really give me my strength back.

Iirc I was eating essentially a normal diet about two weeks later.

Slow and steady wins the race.

Hi there, I think your body will tell you what to eat and what not, it's about what you feel comfortable with and everyone heals at a different pace. I was eating pizza carefully in a restaurant at the same day after my wisdom tooth removal. Wasn't the best pizza evening for me but it was ok.
