Tooth is sharp on the edges after bite adjustments. Is that normal?

Hi,
I posted few queries on my fillings and bite issues. I did go to my dentist today for urgent visit to check if I have access. Because I have a hard lump on the lower tooth. He did take an x-ray and said it's fine. He again check for my bite because that could cause the issue and he adjusted 2 teeth on the lower left side. I came home and feel little ok. But I run through my tongue and I see the edges of the tooth are so sharp. Is this normal? Will brushing make it normal as other teeth?
My dentist office is closed now and I cannot call them. Is this normal or it has to be filled down again? What are the precautions can I take till I file it to a smooth surface. May be on Monday. What to do at home to feel better? Any inputs?

Sorry for the late reply. For the sharp tooth, maybe trying dental wax while waiting to see the dentist would help if it's too sharp. Maybe they simply need to smooth things up, but I would suggest calling the office to ask what to do.
