Niall Neeson BDS (Hons) Dip. Con. Sed. is the clinical director at Boyne Dental and Implant Clinic in Navan.
Originally from Newcastle, Co Down, Niall graduated with honours from Queen’s University Belfast in 2006 before moving to the Highlands of Scotland. Here he was a member of an award-winning dental practice before moving to Co. Meath in 2016. Throughout his career, Niall has completed many courses to continually add to his skill set including the prestigious 3 year Advanced Restorative Dentistry Course run by Professor Paul Tipton.
Niall has a special interest in helping people who either avoid (or really dislike) going to the dentist. He believes in tailoring his help to each individual, offering the full spectrum of tools including everyday behavioural management techniques, ‘The Wand’ technology, CBT, hypnosis, inhalation sedation, and IV sedation. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma with Distinction from Trinity College Dublin (2017-2018).

Niall is a member of the International Society for Dental Anxiety Management (ISDAM), Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD), British Society of Medical and Dental Hypnosis (BSMDH) and Dental Sedation Teachers’ Group (DSTG).
He also enjoys his role of teaching and supervising dental students on a weekly basis at Dublin Dental University Hospital, passing on his passion for helping fearful dental patients to the next generation!
