Victoria Mellish BDS

Victoria Mellish BDS (UK) FHEA (Eng) GDipHlthProfEd (Aus) PGCertHBE (Eng) MJDF (Eng), GDC No. 178024 qualified from Sheffield University in 2009, and gained her postgraduate qualifications in both the UK and Australia.

Victoria has particular interests in Oral Surgery, Dental Undergraduate Teaching and Conscious Sedation. She is currently one of the Oral Surgery dentists at The Royal London Dental Hospital and teaches dentistry students at Queen Mary University London.

Victoria has a special interest in helping nervous patients and dental students overcome their fears. She created a new Oral Surgery curriculum at James Cook University, Australia, that focuses on providing patients with a comfortable experience. She has provided lectures on communication skills and the importance of creating a calming environment in the dental surgery.

Victoria lives in London and enjoys cycling to work when it isn’t raining. In her free time, she travels with her three cameras and is proud to have had photographs in the Lonely Planet magazine.
