Wow!!! This is the first chance I've had to come online today, and it appears there have been some interesting developments in my absence!!
Not to mention a large number of posts that made me burst into rather loud fits of giggles!

Think this was my favourite:

Actually, I think Tragon could be the way to go... You see, you may not all be aware of this, but I happen to know that tragons are actually real creatures who have been around on this earth for centuries. However, no-one's ever seen one, because they've always hidden themselves away due great shame about their teeth and an overwhelming fear of going to the dentist. For years people have tried in vain to catch even a glimpse of one, and many began to doubt their very existence. Then, one tragon discovered DFC, and through this incredible resource he found the strength to be able to face his fear, get the treatment he needed, and finally show his face - and his teeth - to the world!! Yeah, actually, I'm sure that's it...!

(well, I'd love to say that it was a well-thought-out and very clever symbolic representation of something or other, but the easy answer is it was included in the logo maker)

I feel that that logo maker has a lot to answer for!

.......and I think that a mating of a T-Rex and a Dragon would indeed have resulted in this creature. The Mummy would have been the T-Rex and the Daddy the dragon, as it couldn't have worked the other way around...what with wings and those spines down the back and tail (Carole is still sending me PMs shouting DRAGON !!!! )

I always thought it was a dinosaur because I remember seeing dental ads with dinosaurs a lot when I was little. I'm not sure why dinosaurs were the creature of choice.

It s T REX, obviously, Geeeee you people ! I've ALWAYS thought it was a T REX a) because I am clever b) because T REX was renowned for his teeth, being a massive predator and carnivore c) I thought letconnect had deliberately chosen T REX due to his well known set of gnashers - but clearly that wasn't the case

Sorry Carole, I've gotta go with Carys on this one! That creature is a T-Rex! Carys, I thought Lets chose a T-Rex for the same reason!!! lol Apparently we're both deep and philosophical in our thinking! There is too much evidence against it being a dragon...no spikes, no wings...it's not breathing smoke or fire...It's a T-Rex. We should name him...he could be the DFC mascot!
