So, I have an appointment scheduled for cleaning and I knew that I had a little tartar build-up, just because my teeth felt rough. Today things seemed to just be getting worse though, as I noticed the build-up on one tooth is way thicker than the others. I have no clue if it was already there and I just failed to notice or if it's super-recent. When I lightly scrape it with my fingernail, it's black: another great sign...
I don't know what to do to keep this at bay anymore: I brush, I use a prescribed mouthwash, I eat healthy, but it just seems to worsen each day.
Atop of my worries that my teeth will fall out in the time between appointments(I dream about that constantly.), I also have another question: should I not rinse with water after brushing? It seems to come up in a lot of dental-related tips and I have not done it anymore since reading it.
With my new mouthwash however, it says to flush with water after brushing, because there's stuff in toothpaste that will reduce the effectiveness of the wash. I'm kind of at loss on what to do here...
